Quick-Baked Manicotti

Note: When asked what Brian would like for his birthday meal, he always requests manicotti (or in this Italian family, it's pronounced man-i-got).

10 manicotti shells (We've discovered that the cheaper ones fall apart easily when cooked. I prefer Barilla.)
1 pound ground beef
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 cup cottage cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 (15-1/2 oz) jar Ragu (or any jarred pasta sauce you prefer)
1/3 cup Parmesan cheese

Cook manicotti, rinse, and set aside. Saute beef and garlic. Drain. Add cottage cheese, mozzarella, salt, and mayonnaise to skillet; stir well. Stuff shells with meat mixture. Combine Ragu and oregano; pour over manicotti. Sprinkle with Parmesan. Cover and bake at 350 for 15 minutes. Uncover and bake 10 minutes.
