Note: Simple and delicious. I've been known to indulge in a late-night snack of a slice of chocolate cake and a glass of cold milk.
Prepare 1 pkg Duncan Hines chocolate butter cake mix as directed and bake in 3 round cake pans.
Frosting for cake:
1/2 cup shortening
1 tsp vanilla
Enough milk to mix
1 box powdered sugar
1/8 tsp almond flavoring
Mix together and frost cooled cake. Stack layers.
