Note: Terry made this for a backyard barbecue. There were many requests for this recipe. We loved how moist the cake is.
1 Butter Recipe Golden cake mix
1 can (21 oz) peach pie filling
1/2 C sour cream
2 eggs
With fork, mix together cake mix, pie filling and eggs. Add sour cream. Spoon into 9x13 greased baking dish. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
Icing:
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
1 pkg vanilla instant pudding mix
1 large can crushed pineapple
1 (8 oz) Cool Whip
chopped pecans (optional)
Mix together cream cheese, pudding mix and pineapple with juice. Fold in Cool Whip and spread on cooled cake. Refrigerate.
