Note: This was the first recipe to make in the Cooking I project for 4-H. We made so many of them that I was sick of eating them. However, wanted to include the recipe because of the memories and they really are good to eat.
1/2 C dry powdered milk
1/4 C sugar
1/2 C peanut butter
1 egg
1/2 C water
1 tsp vanilla
1-2 C quick cooking oats
1/2 C coconut
Put the dry milk, sugar, peanut butter, egg, and water in a skillet. Stir and cook over low heat until thickened--3 minutes. When smooth and thick, stir in vanilla and cereal. Remove from heat and cool. Roll a teaspoon of batter to make a small ball. Roll in coconut.
